Mark Squires - Fashion Photography
Mark Squires is from New York. and has been taking photographs since a very early age. He works with the digital format but draws upon artistic influences to create his imagery - this appears to work well and balances out the starkness that can be caused by digital processes. Mark also has a few other skills which at first glance might not be apparent. Working with models in the highly competitive world of fashion photography is not at all easy - the models have their own personality and ideas - and where Mark so obviously succeeds is working with the models to create an imagery that is at once different, noticable, slightly erotic, but under control without being too false - no easy task. Mark's imaginative compositions are nicely interpreted by the models - and all seems to come together just perfectly.
